okay.im intalling a shift kit and im stuck. at step 18,which is the 2-3, it says remove 2 seal rings from accumulator piston. The install the rubber rings that came with the kit on piston..


well, does that mean i cut the outer rings on top and bottom of the piston,then place the rubber rings over the piston?

like here:do i cut the red line,and place rubber rings over the green?

 

Replacing the two existing rings with new ones sounds simple enough. Are the rings different sizes or different colors? Got the instructions? If not who made the shift kit? Give them a call.
