RE: New Mustang?
what area are you in, since prices vary. And why not get a 6-8grand Fox thats in great condition/lower miles. or is there a reason you cant spend all 8grand.
like in so cal you could get this, its nice for that price id say. with only 40k miles.

A lot of the foxes are trashed or just worn out from being old, usually the interior goes first with the center armrest breaking and the seats fading.
Problems with the 94-95's is that they are harder to modify because of the computer and parts are harder to find.

I would buy that 2.3 if you are looking for a project. Also, if it's still available. That way you can go nuts with a build. Make some carbuerated monster, or run a 5.0 FI swap on it. Just don't try to swap a 6 cyl 87-93 to an 8 cyl as the K member is different. Not impossible, but it turns out to be a pain, and probably cost you more time and money. Personally, I think that 94-98 are the ****tiest looking Mustangs ever made, but you could probably invest some of that cash into a 95 Cobra if you like that style. I have a friend with one, and it goes pretty good. Nothing like my built fox, but for a mostly stock car it is not bad.

Thats what I think too. I really love the older stangs. They will be easier to work on, cheaper, and they just look better! So if I find one in good condition I'll probably go for that.
And I dont want to spend all 8 grand on the car because I have to pay for insurance and any mods that I have in mind.
I live in Saskatchewan, Canada and cars seem to be a bit more expensive here than they are in the states =/
