what happened!?!?!?!?!?
If you have a Sam's club nearby, the BFG drag radials are $135 each. Last time I looked they only had a listing for 15" rims though. And there is no shipping charges involved, or at least there weren't then last time I got BFG's there.
what is a better compound C07 or D05? i have no idea thats the difference other then one is medium and one is soft
how wide of a tire should i run? with the mega bites in the back is higher then stock so i can get a wider tire in there and let it stick out a bit
so a drag radial is street legal? birdman i do have a sam club so i think ill check that out. would have never thought to look there. will they have them in stock or they have to be ordered?

would mtt-3793r be better?

You can get DR in just about any size that regular tires come in. Yes they are 100% street legal, they even do fine the rain (as long as they are not bald). This is the last time I will say it, YOU DON"T NEED SLICKS, your car is nowhere near fast enough for them, get a DR, take it from sombody who has been there before. That Mickey Thompson tire is the best hooking DR out right now but it does not last very long, if you daily drive on it you will wear it out in about three months.
no matter what tire i buy, i wont run it on the street. i dont race on the street and my 40k mile tires work fine for the driving i do. so with that said, for a strip only tire which is better, the mickey thompson or the bfg's that i posted about?
i am going to get a DR but which one im not sure. it will be nice to use on the street if necessary but i wont for DD. how long will the MT last as in miles? is that the right BFG you guys were talking about, it looks like a normal tire? how long will that last?

I get about 3 months of daily driving on BFG, the nice thing about a SR is you can bolt it on at your house and drive to the track, rather than bringing the extra tires, jack, jackstands with you. If you only dive to and from the track you will get at least a year or two, depending on how often you race and your burnout tecnique (btw a dr does not need a huge smokey burnout). I am staying with BFG because it's a tire I am familiar with, but if I was starting over and tire wear was not a concern than the Mickey is a good choice, you really won't go wrong with either tirego with whatever you can find cheaper.
i think i will go with the MT. i only go to the track once a month tops. get in up to 4 runs per trip. and sense i will most likely never use the tire on the street (despite it being street legal). its just drawing me in and it looks bad ***.i think ill get plenty of use from it as a strip only tire
thanks for all your help......now to come up with some money
