Default tranny is leaking!!!!!!!!!

my t-5 is leaking whats a good way to find the leak our a common area shes bleeding to death so i need help soon. i would hate to yank it again but i know i'm gonna have to. please someone tell me i don't have to.

First of all, if it's covered with fluid you have to clean it off and check it out after a short drive. Common area for any trans is the tailshaft seal. The tailshaft to gearbox is sealed with silicone...no gasket and so is the top cover. As far as I know they are not leak prone.

Put a clean piece of cardboard under car overnight. Check where the drips are hitting and it will give you a clue as to where on the trans the fluid is coming from. Tail shaft seal is my guess also.
