help identifying my carb
The previous owner told me it is a Holley 750.
I have read countless threads that say a 750 is too much for a moderate or lightly modded 302, thats fine, and when I have the money I will bump down to a 600CFM, but for now I would like to get the one I have working as well as possible. To do this I read that we have to know exactly what carb we are talking about, after a brief look I found no model number to go with the carb, so I am submitting these photos to try and help me identify the carb
Also, I added a pic of the fuel pressure regulator, I hear I need to know what PSI my fuel is at, but I don't know if it is the side, or the top that I need to feed a gauge into? any help here would be nice.
ALSO note, that the air filter is saturated with fuel. When the previous owner ( a young racer kid with more ambition than knowledge) ran it for me, (reving it constantly) fuel was pouring out of the "vent tube".
in addition, when he pulled off one of the vacuum lines it died, then he restarted it, ran fine, then reattached the vac line.
PLEASE help! This is to be my daily driver (and raced on weekends at the track only of course!) So I need it to run as good as possible,
If there is no way to get the 750 to work on this set up then let me know that too, and I will try to find someone to trade carbs.
thanks in advance!

RE: help identifying my carb
I dunno man, good luck getting even a properly set up 750 to run OK on your engine,, that's WAY too much carb unless your massively modded. Just go grab something like a 600cfm right away & don't spend a dime on the 750
