I have a 03 mustang GT with an auto transmission and if I am going lets say 40 mph coming up to a turn kinda fast, brake but still take the turn like a mustang driver and not like an old lady ok so picture me turning right kinda fast, but when I hit the gas to speed up fast again I get this like bogging feeling and my engine like feels like it has too much gas or something and bogs for a second.

I thought this was normal because I thought it was just the traction control kicking in and not letting the engine go that fast or something. The reason I thought this is because one time I was driving on a dirt lot.... I mean....100% dirt everyone, and I tried to gun the engine to spin the tires and my engine just did nothing, it went.... BOG....and it made me speed up slowly.

So my question is, Is this normal because it is the traction control kicking in or normal because if you take a fast turn then gun it your engine has too much gas and does this or NOT normal and there could be something wrong with my car?

Does the TC light light up on the dash when your doing it? If yes then YES that is exactly how it feels when TC activates


..have you tried turning your traction control OFF & doing the same thing?

Well sometimes the spinning tires icon lights up and sometimes it doesnt when this happens. I will go try it with the TC off and see what it does.
