So I'm looking for a GT and been thinking weather or not I should go with auto or manual..So I was wondering how many of you guys have auto and manual? and what do you thinkI should go for?

 

It depends on what you like. If you like the driver involvement of a manual and the fact that they are slightly faster go with the manual. If you just like the looks of the Mustang and a little performance and just like to cruise or live in the city go with the auto.
I've driven a GT with an auto and a shift kit and it was a pretty fun car but I liked the Mach 1 with 5 speed that I drove better. I personally have a manual right now

 

AUto can be boring until you change the line pressures and shift points. I had that done and hold on. Love the car, specially cruising. PUNCH IT AND HOLD ON. WORRY ABOUT IN FRONT OF YOU INSTEAD OF YOUR NEXT SHIFT.

only time i'd get an auto is if i was pushing a ton of horsepower and couldnt keep up with shifting a 5sp.

 

manual.

 

where you live will create your manual experience, if you live in NYC then driving a stick will suck, but if you live in an unpopulated area with lots of almost empty roads than a manual is more fun and you have more control. but if you live in a heavily populated area than it's more convenient to get an auto

 

go with the auto that way you can taalk on the phone, eat a sandwich and drive down the road all at the same time.

 

manual is just simply more fun, especially in a mustang
