Default Shifting into gear

i drive a 00 GT and for the past couple months shifting into gear has become very difficult at times. it is usually shifting into 1st from a standstill and occasionally into 3rd, but overall shifting has become alot harder as well, it doesnt go as smooth (the shift itself not the clutch pedal). i need your help on what it could be. exactly a year ago i got a new clutch, and i've never smelled it burning yet. what could it be? when i am not able to shift into gear i let go of the clutch pedal and i hear kind of a "thug" or something going back into place and then depress again and then it allows me to...if thats any help at all

thannks!

sounds like the syncros could be off or something...when at a stand still with the clutch in there shouldnt be a problem

How far off the carpet is your pedal when the clutch starts to engage and how about engaging reverse?
