I bought a pair of 1" Billet Aluminum Hub Centrics for $50 for the back of my car. VERY pleased with them. Between those and my 275 tires on the rear the edge of the tires sit nice and flush with the lip of the rear fender. Before that I thought it looked crappy how the wheels were pulled/tucked in. Buy them.

yea i had to buy soem for my 73 to fit the deep dish bullits from my 01 on.they were 2 inch and i liked them alot. makes the car look 100% better. they made the froont end turn weird though just because the offset but not bad. once again they were 2 inch wide. i have just under and inch wide spacers on my 88 gt right now and i like them too.

Be careful using wheel spacers on the FRONT wheels.. A) as you noticed they can make the car handle a bit weirder, B) increase the possibility of the wheels rubbing the wheelwells during sharp turns, and C) you're movingthe wheelsload-center, this can make your wheel bearings wear out faster.

On the rear should be fine. In fact I am wanting to get a set for the back because the factory Stang bullits look too tucked in, and I don't really want to buy wider rims for just the rear of the car

Nah dude don't sell them. Find out what caused the shake and then put them back on. I could see the back maybe shaking if they weren't put on tight enough?? lol

Can't argue spacers make most wheel combinations look better. Nothing like a rim/tire assembly right flush with the wheel lip.

As for precision. No spacer is best. Any error in the manufacturing of the spacer will be amplified at the tire surface.

Like a 0.05" imperfection on the spacer will be like 0.50" at the tire.
