Default RE: buying a GT

i guess it's too late for me to chime in with my opinion. DON"T DO IT. j/k bro. i have had a couple offroad toys and a few mustangs. while i love to play offroad, i get to enjoy my gt all the time. my 80 f150 that i was driving daily until i bought the mustang in october is surely no comparison to your jeep though, as it's old, rusty...and a lot bigger.

enjoy the car bro.

wow lol this thread is back from when i just bought the gt...

was just lingering around and thought i'd find this thread since i haven't been on or posted since this and thought it would be fun to update it with a pic of the gt and the mods. still absolutely love the car.

now has blacked out headlights/tail lights, aluminum fuel door, o/r x with mac dumps, lowered an inch and a half, 4.10 gears and also has DD bullits with 315's which aren't pictured because i had to take them off because they got bald. so the 245's are on till i can buy new wide tires again. also has mach grill delete and tinted windows

car has ran a best of 8.7 in the eighth with the mods. that was in 70ish degree weather. cooler weather in the 40's or 50's will definitely help a bit and i think i can get 8.6 or possibly 8.5 out of her.

Nice job with the mods, very tastefully done and not over the top.

One comment, even though this post was old...
If you're buying a used car, fight for the price.
I'm a car salesman, and I know the money is in the used cars.
People trade in their cars for bottom dollar, we fix them and sell them for top dollar.
Example: we picked up a 98 Cobra, yellow convertible, with 37k on it for $4100. Now we'll sell it for $13000.
If you're buying used, get the best price--you KNOW we don't pay bluebook for those cars.
