Default fog light help

My passenger side fog light is out and I can change the bulb fine, but how do you actually get the fog light casing out? I removed the screw and the spring that holds it on and all will do is wiggle loosely. By the way its an 04 GT if that plays any significant role. Anyhow I would appreciate any help. Thanks

If you want to remove the whole assembly you need to use a torx head screwdriver and remove the bolt on the bottom of the bumper facing upwards. If you get under the car and look at the underside of the bumper you will see it. After that you have to kinda feel on top of the black foglight housing for two more of the torx head bolts. I just removed mine the other day to replace them with clear lights. If you have a small philips screwdriver you might be able to remove the little screws that are holding just the light in place. Those screws are in both sides of the foglight housing. Hope this helps, if you need a pic of it, let me know.

If you removed the screw with the spring on it from the front, that's your vertical aim screw. You have to remove it from the back.

Yep, gotta remove the 2 screws from the back, and 1 from the bottom. Kind of a pain, even with small hands. I found it to be a little easier with the telescopic magnetic arm tool, w/e the technical name for it is. You can also use a socket with extension, I think it was a 6mm? But coould be 5mm or 7mm as well.

Forwarning, tho....it's easier to get them out than back in, so try not to get frustrated! Have a few beers! It'll help! [sm=alcoholic.gif]
