Default please help exhaust leak!!

hey guys i just changed my exhaust put x pipe without converters and where it meets the headers there is a exhaust leak from hell it is tighnted down no broken studs the ends of the x pipe swallowed the stock headers would replacing the shorty headers with some aftermarket bbks fix this issue any help would be great learning about exhaust the hard way

Be sure you tightened the bolts on the flange in an even sequence. If you don't thenone side will get hung up and it won't seal.

Get the car up to operating temperature so the exhuast is good and hot then tighten up the bolts even more and that should help
