well my brand new motor lost oil pressure..i shut the motor down fast...so i used my oil prime tool and i have 0 psi of pressure...so im thinking the oil pump broke for what ever reason...anyway i have new pump ready to go..now can i remove the oil pan while the motor is in the car or does it have to be pulled out?

ok..so all i have to do is take motor mounts loose and use a picker to rise it up..please do not tease me...

completely unbolt the engine and lift it up a fair bit.. i wouldnt pull it all the way out

thanks..i will keep you posted on how it turns out....this really makes me sick..it onlys had about 1 hr running time on it..and bam no pressure...but it was bumbing hard before it went south...sounded killer....thanks

loosen the trans mount so you don't crack it when you pick up on the engine and make sure you don't break the ground straps on the back of the engine attached to the firewall of the car. disconnect them first to be safe. also watch the vacuum hoses too so you don't stretch or break them either.
