I have a 69 mustang coupe I obtained a few months ago.. When I started working on the windows I noticed that the chrome track and seal that goes between the front windows and the quarter windows is mounted on the trailing edge of the glass of the front windows rather then the leading edge of the quarter windows. Does this seem a bit odd to anyone else? All others I have seen seem to have this seal mounted on the quarter windows. I purchased another pair of quarter windows with seals mounted on the leading edge of the glass in hopes of correcting this issue. Although the new windows were the same shape as my old ones, they are about 1/2" shorter at the leading edge of the glass.... kinda confirming that there is something different here. I am a bit confused as to what it is. I cannot seem to find any information about this. Any help would be appreciated.
