94 Stang Brake Pedal Problem
Hey all,
I have a 94 Mustang Vert that was sitting for almost 2 years when I bought it. The top was damaged at the glass and apparently a lot of water sat for a long time inside the car. Under the dash, items that are normally clean metal all have surface rust.
Among other problems I have, the brake pedal "sticks". When I press on the brake pedal, it goes down, but doesn't come back up. I have to manually lift the pedal up in order to stop the brakes from staying depressed.
I was hoping there was a spring or something I might be able to spray with WD40 or something, but I only see a rubber like boot around the brake pedal where it enters the firewall.
How would I fix this problem? Will I need to replace anything, or is this something I can clean/grease/spray?
Thanks in advance.
Jay
