Haha thanks
I'll keep that in mind. I'm pretty sure I can get it than.

Where should I get one at? Order it online or what?

Another question......Why is one short throw shifter better than another?

Quality of construction and how they shift. They also have a strong centering spring that really helps with the 2-3 shift. You can pretty much just put your hand against the bottom of the shifter and shove it forward and it'll go from 2nd to 3rd and with the posative shift stops you can jam it has hard as you want and not worry about bending shift forks like you would on a stock shifter.

The most popular ones right now are MGW and tri-ax. another one that's been popular is the pro-5.0.

Right now, the MGW is pretty much the consensus "best" shifter on the market. You never really hear anyone who doesn't like it.

I have an MGW although I haven't installed it yet as I'm going to install my KB kit at the same time. I had the tri-ax on my 2003 GT and loved it, but there are just too many people with the MGW who rave about it so I got the MGW this time.

As for the pro 5.0, a lot of people swear by them, but I have one on my Saleen right now and I hate it with a passion. Notchy as hell, doesn't shift smoothly at all. LOL, when I took it to the dealer to have the supercharger serviced, the tech that drove the car into the service bay said, "you LIKE this shifter?"

Get the MGW or Tri-ax. They're both really good shifters.

I won't be getting a short throw until summer anyways when I'm putting in 75 hours every check.
