Like a head unit cd player? Of course, they make a mounting kit for every car.

Check the place you purchased your stereo, probably cost around $35-$40 for the kit with extras.

Make sure the stereo brand and car make/model match.

Yes for an aftermarket, but every mounting kit I found is not for a 96 but either later or earlier.

Well 1994-1998 are very similar, try 1995-1997 mount kit I am almost certain it'll work.

Now I found out because mines not double din that mine will fit right in there. I knew that but I just didn't like the cage showing. So i was hoping they had a small one.

yeah, most aftermarket headunits will fit right into the factory slot for our original head units. just need to buy a wiring harness and you are good to go.

Did your head unit not come with a piece of trim the goes around the outside edge to hide it?

Im not sure what you mean by 'cage'.
