Default Red eye express

I just took my '65 K-Code out for the first time this year. In just a few short miles it began to idle rough and run so rich my eyeballs were burning out of my skull at stop signs. Anyone out there with early Mustang knowledge help me with this one? It's a 289, 10.5:1, 650 Holley with less than 2" of vacuum at idle. Can't wait to burn rubber again. Thanks

Maybe play with fuel - air mixture with the carb screws? How old is the gas in your gas tank, what shape isthe fuelfilter in, air filter?

Sounds like watery fuel, or just not getting enough air in the fuelmixture.
