Hey, I bet that corolla saves more gas being loserishly slow than a stang does being super fast and cool.

Haha, my friend is the same way with his 'Intrepid 3.5L'. Sure its got over 200 hp, but it loses like 7 coolness points for being a 4 door... Not even mentioning the15 cup holders.
I have a MazdaSpeed3 as my daily driver though..... I make 270whp/285wtg at the wheels... AND average 27mpg....

I was wondering if you pull the ebrake , is it equivalent to slamming on the brakes.

also does the stopping power become less if you pull the ebrake up only a little.
On that note, what does that big circular thing in front of you when you're sitting in the driver's seat do? You know the thing that has a picture of a running horse and the letters srs on it....

I think its called a steering wheel...I'm pretty sure the "s" is silent.

Does it turn the front wheels more the more you turn it?

Do NOT...I REPEAT...Do NOT use your E-brake during the winter months. Last winter I used my e-brake and it FROZE to my caliper when the temp was under 32 degrees. It was a humid, cold and windy day. I had to leave my car overnight and wait for the temp to go above freezing so I could move it. The next day, it was 42 degrees and everything was fine!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Are you serious?

I'll assume you are... It's only equivalent to slamming on the brakes if you rip it up quick.

And yes, the stopping power is less if you pull it up only a little.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You beat me to it . . . .damn I love questions like these!!!

THe only other time to use your E brake is when you are on one steep *** hill and have had to stop for some reason. You throw it on and then you will not roll backwards when it is time to go farwards agian....thats if your driving a Manual. no need if it`s a Auto.
