RE: Yet Another Disappointment
my timing was @ 15 degrees at idle, i have #24's and the fuel pressure was at like 43-45. if you think that fuel pressure is high, it did the same thing at 40psi. what the hell does that little chip that you pull out when you set the timing do. it doesnt seem to make any diffrence on my car

RE: Yet Another Disappointment
your heads could be to much for your setup. ppl love to buy **** they dont need. i have said many times you can got fast with e7s or gtps in stock form. to large of valves on a 302 will cause you to run less

RE: Yet Another Disappointment
it runs good when it runs right, it has some kind of fuel injection or ignition problem that causes it to run like hell one minute and be sick the next. i have never seen anything like it. i have box stock edel. performer heads with an Ecam, gt40 intake, #24's, 65mm tb, 75mm maf, msd, longtubes, offroad h and flows, and more but cant remember right now. i did my research and i dont think i have anything mismatched

Hey Dan,
That lil chip your referring to that you take out when setting your timing. Thats what locks the timing in place. From what I hear if you dont put that back it the timing could change on you. It prob wouldnt make a difference right away but Im sure given enough time it will cause something to go wrong.
