I'm in the process of putting a new cam in my 66 coupe. When I took the timing cover off some of coolant from the block ran into the oil pan. Not a large amount but enought to make me wonder. I'm a novice at this engine work and was wondering how concerned I should be and what, if anything, I should do?
A good rule of thumb if youre starting to work on engines, always keep extra oil and coolant on hand, because almost everything you do youll lose coolant, or contaminate your oil with coolant or some other foreign objects.
