I have a 92 LX 5.0 and had an aftermarket CD player installed. I notice that the airbag light stays on when I put the key in the ignition. It does not flash nor is there a beep. Sometimes when I put the key in the ignition, the light is off. Seems to be an intermittent problem. The car had a stock radio and EQ and the wiring harness used for the aftermarket system was found near the glovebox. Any help on how to fix the intermittent steady on airbag light would be appreciated.

 

I too have a phantom air bag light, it seems to go off more when I put things on the passenger seat, but it always goes off after about a min.
