I was wondering if I get 1" drop springs or 1.5" would I need a set of caster camber plates? I have a friend that told me I would need caster camber plates. What are these plates for? Any help would be great!

my stang has been lowered for years and i still don't
have caster camber plates. i would rather put my money
in other areas of the car..

caster/camber plates are to put your alignment back to spec after it was messed with. i lowered my stang 1.5" by cutting my springs and i dont need them, drives fine and they are still in spec.

You don't need caster camber plates. Waste of money.

you would need them if you went 2" or more, but 1 and a half is cool.

Most people do buy lowering springs....Eibach, steeda. I have BBK springs. They are not too much money.

I know pacman cut his and he seems to be very happy with them.
