Default 351W clearance

I've heard heard there is a way to lower the engine for a lower center of gravity. I'm wanting to fit a 351W under a stock hood with a 1" spacer & gt40 intake. Possible feat?

don't know if it will fit under a stock hood or not, but HPM Performance Products makes a set of solid engine mounts for the 351W swap into a Fox chassis that is supposed to lower the engine 3/4" to compensate for the taller deck height of the 351. I just orderd a set from Holcomb Motorsports, their part number is HPM6000BZ for $69.95, for my new 351 stroker engine and hope they will let me keep the stock hood. Wont' know for sure until I test fit the engine though and that won't be for a while as I still have lots left to do before I drop it in.

I remember what it was I heard! Is there an aftermarket K member that lowers the engine?
