Reverse Glow Gauge Problem

Reverse Glow Gauge Problem
I installed reverse glow gauges in my 02 GT a few months ago and everything was fine until last week. They started flickering and occasionally just went out completely. I took it apart to check my power and my ground and they both seemed fine. If anyone else has had this problem or can help I'd appreciate it. [sm=dontgetit.gif]

flickering?
i had that same problem until Dave just fixed it lastnight. he wired them direct.
they are wired right into the parking lights.
mine was in a temporary fix until i got my switch for my driving lights.
lastnight Dave came out and fixed everything.
mine used to flicker when i used anything else while i was driving.
roll window down *flickered* use wipers *flicker*
but problem solved now.

I don't remember what wire I used, but it is very easy to find the correct one. If you have a volt/ohm meter, just put one prong on a good ground, and use the other one to insert into the back side of the plug. now turn on the lights and see if the volts jump up, if they do, shut it off and see if it drops down to 0. once you find a wire that does this that is the wire that you want to connect it to. Hope this helps ya.

RE: Reverse Glow Gauge Problem
I did the same thing with the volt/ohm meter and found the blue wire to be hot. Is there maybe multiple hot wires going into that headlight switch with higher/lower currents? Maybe I just picked the first one that I found instead of the right one. I'm still confused though b/c the gauges are getting power, they're just flickering like it's a bad connection or something. I soddered it wire to wire though so I have no idea. I used a stainless steel screw to tie my ground to the metal behind the gauge cluster so I'm pretty sure it's got nothing to do with my ground.
