Default Having trouble removing hood

Does anyone have any tips for doing this? I have a 2002 Ford Mustang that I'm trying to remove the hood from. When I got to the bolts and tried to loosen them, they wouldn't budge. Next to stripping the bolts, I can't think what tool I should use or what I might be doing wrong.

Thanks,

Trey

They probably have lock tight on them (the red stuff). you will have to heat around them with a torch. Are you repainting the hood? If you are bakeing the paint off of it won't matter, but if you don't want to hurt the finish on the hood have an assistand continuously pour water onto the top of the hood in the area where you are heating. It doesn't take much heat to unlock the lock tight, then find a good socket to fit and crank 'em lose. Good Luck!

The hood is fiberglass on his car dude. I'd stay away from that with a torch.
