SN95 Pass Door lock-Doesn't work with key
The passenger door lock in my 95 gt wont open from the outside with the key. If you pull the handle from the inside, it works fine. I figure I'm gonna have to open up the door panel, but how do you get that bugger off? [:@]
Also another lock problem, theres a broken key in my trunk lock. I've tried to get the key out, but to no avail. any idea how to take the trunk lock out?

Are you saying that the door won't unlock with the key? If so, try squirting some WD-40 in it and run the key in and out a few times. The pins may be stuck. The trunk lock should be held in with a spring clip.

sorry shouldve been more clear. I can put the key in and turn it, but doesnt unlock. Leads me to believe the linkage isnt hooked up in the door. I was lookin for some tips on taking the door panel out.

to take the door panel off you need to pop the cover off the mach speaker(if you have it) and there is a screw holding it in. take this screw out and the speaker will slide up and unplug. then you need to pop off the panel that holds the window switches and unplug those. there are 2 screws behind that, they need to come out. then the whole panel should lift up and pull out. you will have to wiggle it around the door handle though. then there is a piece of white plastic that covers the whole door panel and you can just pull this down and you can get to the inside of the door. not sure how much access to the lock you will have though. its basically a double paneled door with holes cut in certain spots for access.
