02 GT MAF problems
I recently purchased a 90mm "Lightning" MAF from JDM Engineering. I had to do a little "creative engineering." Not wanting to purchase a completely new cold air system (I already had a K&N FIPK on the car) I purchased a K&N FIPK for an '03 Cobra. With the additional purchase of a 4" silicone hose from MotoBlue, the setup worked great. I tuned it with my SCT X3 Flash tuner, which has an option for the 90mm MAF.
Except for one thing. My "Service Engine Soon" light is on. The SCT says the code is P0113, "Intake Air Temp Sensor Open Circuit" according to Haynes, or "Intake Air Temp Sensor High Input" according toother OBD-IImanuals I've seen. I've checked the whole setup for leaks, and everything seems to be tight. My question is, is my brand new MAF bad (it appears that the IAT and MAF are the same thing), is it a programming issue, or is there a separate IAT sensor hidden somewhere that I don't know about?
