Default Diablo Tune

I just got my diablo tuner in the mail. So far ive only corrected for gear ratio and set my fuel table to -4. I was just wondering what other people have done and what is safe to do to my car. Ive got a 2000 GT manual, with full length headers and CAI.

anybody know a good tune for that let me know.

One quick note. Im not exactly sure what engine ping sounds like. With my tuner, it changes spark timing in the 2k-4k rpm range (and it only works under full throttle it says), and the 4k-7k. and i can put different values for each. I tried 2.5 in the 2-4 and 3.5 advance in the 4-7. i didnt hear anything out of the ordinary at 4-7, but in 2-4 i heard something from the engine-ish area that sounded like metal when it expands due to heat. Is this "ping?"

I also thought that it might be a bad idea to advance the spark in the mid RPM range, because it probably it only necessary at high rpm. so now i have it set at .05 increase (thats in %, not sure what that means in degrees either). in the 2-4 and 3.0% in the 4-7. my fuel table is tuned to -4.5 in 2-4 and -5.5 in 4-7. The way i understand it, that means 4.5 and 5.5% more fuel. I dont think i will have a problem there. If anyone can help me with this spark timing thing that would rock

If you are unsure about any of that leave it alone as you can really **** thing up. I just advanced my timeing, changed my shift points and shift pressure. All the things that you are talking about I will not do until I can get it on a dyno to fine tune it with all of thoese things. Till then I am leaveing them alone.
