I've got an 84 5.0 that doesnt seem to be getting spark. Ignition module tested bad , Changed it still nothing. Ive cut out inline fuses , still nothing. Engine cranks but no spark.Driving me nuts. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

What about the Distributor Cap?

 

It does need to be replaced but doesnt the spark go through the coil first? i used the old screwdriver in the coil wire propped on metal trick & there is no spark.

 

Have the new module tested... Might be the stator in the dizzy too. Everything else works, right? Radio etc...

So you removed all the fusible links?

 

no just the two right up by the distributor
