I have had my 2003 GT vert premium for about 2 years now. For the past few weeks, I have been noticing a wierd smell that seems to always be lingering inside the car whenever I get in. A few people have told me it smells like alcohol ( coolant? wiper fluid? ). I really have no idea where it is coming from but I was wondering if anybody had some thoughts as to what it might be, maybe a leak coming through the vents or something. The coolant levels are fine. It is not leaking anything onto the garage floor. Any ideas? Similar problem?

 

Put some newspaper over the carpet and see if it gets wet.
If it does,you can see whether it coolant or washer fluid.
