86 gt vert. i'm running an msd 6a ignition with a blaster 2 coil. while at the local autoparts store i see that msd offers a blaster2, blaster 3, and a ford tfi coil. i've been using the blaster 2 for 15 yrs being that was the only one at the time...so i thought. any feedback on which one would be the best for my setup. the motor is completely stock

 

is there a reason that you want to replace the one that you have on there now. The blaster tfi coil is pretty much a stock replacement so for your car, it seems that you cant go wrong there. I personally don't like MSD coild because of their tendency to make noises. Theres nothing wrong with them but some of them make sounds. I had a tfi and I removed it within two mintues, literally. My next coil will prob be a mallory.
