Just bought the car, 88 LX fastback, I have the button, but it is not wired up, and can't seem to see a place where it goes. Any help?

 

Open your glove box, and on the far left hand side you should find the location where the button goes.
I'm guessing that the buttonhas broken loose from the box that holds the wires if you've found the button laying on the floor.

 

OK, but that button says it's for the hatch, should both mount there?

 

yep its in the glove box, right under the hatch button
