Your oil pressure is fine. 10psi per 1,000rpm is acceptable and a good rule of thumb.

 

ok its been a while.. i found my oil pressure problem and it was the #2,4,5 main brgs were completely chewed up and gone.. i had motor out and rebuilt.. wooohooo. so a few months latr and a few grand latr im back..its running again sorta.. when warm it just cranks and wont fire. fuel pump runs. i got spark at plugs and i got injector pulse.. i turn ign to run position and the fuel pump keeps running. im lost. i dont know what to do now.. any ideas?

 

Are you sure everything is hooked up right? No vacuum leaks etc? Are you sure the timing is correct?

 

yea it runs good when cold.. i was just outside and tried to start. it wont start just cranks fast.. fuel pump doesnt shut off when key is in run position car off.. timing is good and no vac leaks ive found..

 

Any codes?

 

thats another thing. i pulled codes at last build and now i cant get anything.. im stumped.. i followed procedure to get codes and got nothing, even looked it up again and tried no luck. will a fuel pump keep running with key in runposition and engine off if it is failing or failed?
