Default 1995 Mustang Electrical.

Hello everyone!

I am in need of some help. I am new to this site and it looks like the best one when it comes to help with your stang, any who....

I have a 1995 Mustang GT, about a month ago I added some "TrickFlow" underdrive pullies, Loved the results!. I noticed that the pullies squeak when im warming up the car and the Battery meter drops when I press on the break. Is that normal? and if so does changing the alternator pulley affect the car battery? I know its supposed to drop your accessories by 25% so do i need an alternator with higher AMPs?

If your car is a daily driver than put all the stock pullies back on. I personaly dont believe they are work the trouble for the amount of hp they add. I had installed ud pullies years ago. after a few weeks first issue I had was it started to over heat. Put in a new water pump, temp sensors for the guage and the cpu. It didnt over heat as much but it still came close to over heating. If I turned on the ac it would over heat. than the chargeing system started acting up shortly afterwards. the battery would die out after a hours worth of driving. changed the alt a few times even put in a higher amp. changed the battery a few times when i changed out the alts to make sure the battery werent causing the new alts to fail. I replaced the cables going from the alt to the fuse box and the cabled from the fuse box to the batt. made sure all grounds were secure and corrosion free. Still had the charging issue. They are worth more trouble than they are worth. unless your using the car for the strip only or just driving to the strip than home.
