Default wiring issue?

Shortly after I took my headlights out on my 2001 GT I noticed that my turn signals started flashing way too fast. Why is this happening, and what can I do to fix this?

Once I hook new bulbs up this should go away, right?

which turn signals are blinking too fast, the fronts/rears? You say you took out the headlights, are the front turn signalsdisconnected? If they are disconnnected, hook them back up and it should be ok.

Normally, your turn signals will blink faster to indicate one of your turn signal bulbs are out. If the driver's side blinks faster, a bulb on the driver's side (front or rear) is probably out.

P.S. IfI may ask, why did you take your headlights out? Replacing with aftermarket?

Yeah, I bought some smoked headlights and I'm going to hook some HIDs up to them.

Id say hook up ur turn signals for a second and try it out. I think they will work normally. If not post back and let us know. Actually post back anyway and take some before and after pics![8D]

Due to the fact you are putting in new headlights, yea... I heard that if you put HID's in, the aimingmay be different than if you had regular halogen bulbs, not 100% sure tho. Someone else with more knowledge should be able to tell you.
