Default cheap gaskets

I am rebuilding my 289 and I recently found a total rebuild gasket set on ebay for 29 bucks. this sounds to me as something that is too good to be true. is it ok to use gaskets that are that cheap? I dont really know what the difference is in gasket types and materials. obviously I want something that will get the job done correctly but I dont need anything special. what do you guys think... should I buy the set and try?

There are some good gasket sets on Ebay for cheap but that one sounds a little shady. Post the link.

It don't matter whether they come from E-bay or anywhere else.
DON'T BUY CHEAP STUFF OF ANY KIND WHEN IT'S SOMETHING THIS IMPORTANT.

Get good, brand name, reliable parts and then you don't have to worry about things coming back apart. If anything, overbuild your car and it will be worth a lot more if you sell in the future.

i'd spend the moeny and geta good set of gaskets from a name like fel-pro, its better to spend the extra bucks now than to have to re-re-build your motor

what brand is it? dont buy off brand cheap gasket kits, you are just going to have to replace them, and spend more money anyway
