Default A starting bug

I have a 02 vert GT that I just bought a few months ago. Sorry no pics. This is my second 02 GT. Both of the mustangs that I owned had a starting problem that happened once in a while. Sometimes when I turn the key the car cranks a few seconds longer than usual and then starts. Kind of like as if you just put gas in an empty tank. I took it to the dealership and they replaced the fuel pump saying that it was bleeding the fuel back to the tank when off. But it still happens. Does this happen to anybody else?
02 GT 5 speed Nothing more stock than mine.

Sometimes my 02 GT will start after a second or less of cranking, othertimes it'll take 3-4 seconds even.

Yeah, do you know why it does that? It gets emberassing sometimes especially when a group of people are watching you get into your car to leave and it cranks like its dead.

Don't know. This thread has come up 50 times here and nobody has an answer.

My friends GT does the same thing as mine, he has an 04 GT.

Same here, mine starts like it is going to die, than it wakes up. I bet it has something to do with the stock tune. Do any of you guys that have this problem have programmers done, or maybe a chip? It would be nice to test that on mine and see if bumping the timing has any effect.
