My brakes have kind of been getting weak too. I myself was just going to upgrade to ceramic pads and drilled vented rotors. I was thinking of doing a caliper rebuild and paint while I was at it. I figured that'd be good enough for my stopping power. Car doesn't s top bad at all even with 17x9's, so spending big bucks on a brake setup isn't really neccessary for my GT. Finding slotted vented rotors for my mustang under 100$/pc has been a trick though.
