I had the antenna mounted on teh rear trunk on the drivers side corner....I used a clamp type wilson antenna, cause I didnt want to make any holes in hte trunk

I love CB's. Mounting one up in my pickup this fall. I wont put it in my stang, because I dont take it up north (michigan).

they are useful to find out from truckers where the cops are sitting on the highway so you know where and when to slow down. Good stuff.

Breaker one nine this is the BANDIT!!!!!! I thought cb's were ole school I didn't even know they were still being made LOL I know in my 04 if I were ever to try and put one in I don't see anyplace I could. Good luck!

I kind of wanted to get a CB. Radar detectors are for people who can't read the trucks.

You can prety much get any antena you want....differnece in them is the range.

i got a 10 dollar one from walmart that i am using now... its magnetic, and about 2 1/2 feet tall

That's pretty funny, my husband teases me that he's going to put a CB in my 'Stang... I'll tell ya, I'd love it... if I could make it look good, I would... Was looking at the interior antennas... but I heard they suck...
FYI, wilson antennas are great... magnet and trunk mount...

I mounted a galaxy 99v under the pass side of the dash and had a wilson 5000 mag mount on the back center of the roof . Upgraded the alternator to a 150 amp and ran a 2x8 in the truck . I ran about 2200 watts around the garden
