i had a cobra cb in my 98 stang. i even mounted a P.A. speaker under the hood.(a sleaker you can talk though to people.) but in the sn-95 model...or atleast mine, there was a plastic piece that came out under the radio. thats where mine was mounted. like someone said above me, they are really handy for the interstate. and truckers get a kick out of the mustang beside them talking to them on a cb. as for the antenna, i got one from a local shop that mounted on the window with a little sticky pad. it looked like a gps antenna.

 

my boyfriend had one in his 2000 gt. im pretty sure he put box on the dash if i remember right. and he had the magnet antenna on the trunk. i think it looked kinda weird but he has to have a cb in every car he owns. hes weird like that lol

 

I don't feel that odd anymore now. LOL
I always thought I was the only mustang owner that had a CB in his stang.
I may go lookin for a new radio after I'm done with my motor now.
And Yes they are handy for the interstate roads with truckers.
Avoided a speed trap years ago cause of it when I was a younger crazyer me.[sm=badbadbad.gif]
