Default Transmission Fluid

I am going to change my transmission fluid on thursday and have a question about it. I need to know what kind of transmission fluid I should get, how much I need to get, where I should get it and how much it will cost. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your owners manual will list all the fluid types and amounts. Just be carefull on the fluid type. It will take either mercon which is also called dextron3 or it will take mercon V (5). Mercon 5 and mercon/dextron3 are not the same thing so double check. The fluid should only be a couple bucks a quart but you will need a trans kit which will be 20$ or so.
