I like "ricer" wings.

Unless you are driving around at 150+ miles per hour, a wing is purely aesthetic. What other modifications have you done to the car? This is America, and its your car but Im telling you... if you put a big *** wing on it, prepare for some dirty looks.

I've done about everything aesthetically I can think of, and I really want to either go wingless or get one of those black spoilers.

How much do those carbon-fiber wings cost? What kind of Mustang do you have? You might be better off saving the money for a REAL modification. Intake...exhaust....heads...cam...

I want one of those universal wings that does _SOMETHING_ for downforce, but doesnt have too big of a foot print. I want the alluminum blade look, but I dont like the fiber glass stanchions. If you guys cant get off the steeda and cobra R ****, forget I asked. I asked a simple question: Are there any that work, that you guys know of?
Ill put it to you all this way: Ive never once gotten a good comment about my car from somebody online, but people have sought me out in stores, or asked for me so they could complement me on my car. People that hate mustangs like my car, and I'm one of those people who happens to have a different take on the car. I want something sporty looking, not muscular looking. With that in mind, please, productive suggestions only.
Just a suggestion ... I'm just putting it out there. Ive owned 2 EVO's, 1 STi, and an RX-7... all imports with large, functional wings that served me well on a track (the RX-7 more for cornering speeds than down force on a long straight)... Allthe spoilers were functional @ 60 - 70 mph, but I've got to tell you whenever I drove those cars on the street it was sooo annoying. Not because of all the ridiculous looks I got from some people, but because of how much those things get in the way... you don't realize it till you have one. I'm not trying to bash on you're idea (to each his own) I'm just telling you from experience it was not fun for daily driving... my 2 cents.
Yes. because steeda makes parts for Ford. So if you must, absolutley must fug up your car, then atleast go with steeda.
Go buy a damn Honda,I know people like you in real life. Giving Mustangs bad names [:'(]

I still say dig up the roush Trak Pak spoiler. i thik it would look decent on a NE, it functional, and has the thiner aluminun towers, and CF (i think) wing.
Found it! It has a hell of a price tag though.

I think I am going to just end up going wingless, the one thing somebody said was "how much it gets in the way", it made me think of the day I first took my wing off, and how much of a relief it was to have that pos off the back of my car. =)

Lastly, I want to make a very important observation: The only way this would be rice is if I gave half a **** what you thought about how my car looked, and I don't. I'm not trying to make people think I've got a RWD honda and need the downforcez, I just want a replacement for my stock wing that has a more agressive look. But anyway, can we at least avoid the insulting responses, please?
Me? a Troll? sayy whaaaa
REally, I don't know you in real life.. and since i don't know you, I can express my opinions freely, without fear of losing your friendship or risking a fight.
My opinions don't matter.. Weather other people think it's cool or not, it's still crap rice.. and you youself admitted, you don't have many other performance mods.. So, you are putting on something that will make you slower, and a Honda is going to beat you.. and he's gonna talk smack.
The definiton of a ricer is :
"person who makes unecessary modification" - This in no way serves a purpose. You will NEVER need that wing. even if you do 120 MPH, you are going in a straight line (i'm pretty sure). For example, The Audi TT comes with a functioning wing. If you read the manual, it states you can remove the wing if you are not driving in speeds excess of 120 MPH.
Examples of Rice: Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747

You see, the fact you like Rice wings admits fault. On your last post, you clearly contradict yourself, stating (summarized) IT's not rice because you like it, and that just because i don't like it doesn't mean it is rice.
Obviously, that isn't the case.. There are lots of things people do that i dont like to their cars, that does not make it rice, or I would be picking fights with everyone.
OBviously, it's clear to see i have no life. I am very drunk right now, and frankly, i am amazed I am able to type as well as i am now. (atleast i think i'm typing rigt, i'm seeing letters all over the place)
You know something that i've always wondered about my friend?
IF she sells sea shells by the sea shore, who sells them at the store?
Yea,... you like that..thats food for thought
