05 Mustang GT Auto looking for info about installing shift kit if possible or should I just go with torque converter?

 

Get a high stall torque converter and a shift kit if you can afford it.

 

Went to tranny shop and they said that a shift kit may only work temporarily due to the computer correcting for the adjustment do you know of a shift kit that will work permanently with the computer? Welcome any and all advice
