Hi:
The side scoops are not functional, and are probably put on with two sided tape. You can use Mono Filiment fishing line or strong dental floss to remove them. Slide the "Line" between the front edge and the car body. Work it back and forth, "Saw"to cut through the adhesive. If you have a heat gun it will speed the process, but, be vert careful with the heat! Once removed, you can take off the extra adhesive with Acetone, being careful not to get it on any plastic parts. Be certain the paint surface is clean before applying the new scoops. Do not apply the new tape over any old adhesive residue. First hot day, they will slip. After completion, ley them dry for 24 Hrs, before driving. This process will work for any emblem or exgtrusion attached with two sided tape, which is most all body add ons.

The "Saleen" style scoops are not sealed on the back(ie. they are open, andhave no backing in the middle), so you use the stock holes to boltup the new scoops. Getting to the holes from inside is the biggest problem, usually involves taking the backseat out, removing a few panels ofmolding, and then removing the "peel away" sealing tape. There may be a quicker, more efficient way to do this, but I had the help of a paint and body person, and it still took us awhile (2 hours of steady work).
Well worth it, but not the easiest mod I have ever done!
