take the window motor out.
pull the window up with your hands.
put the motor back in.

all you need are somebasic handtools.

 

ok hey this is wierd and i really want to know why it did this me and some buddies were drivin it today and after i dropped them off my arm hit the button and it went up, now im really scared to put it back down, i dont think its the motor anymore cuz its up now, but does anyone have any other suggestions on wut it could be?

 

i just had this happen to me. it lasted for about 3 months. the window would get stuck and i would hear a click. then the next day it would work. happened about four times. on the fifth time the motor had it. i pulled it out tested it and found it was bad. not sure why it didn't just go bad all at once. but your case sounds similar to mine. hope this helps.

 

The motor contacts wear out and find good and bad contacts. I would advise leaving the window up until the motor is repaired or replaced.

 

i would invest in a good repair manual and a multimeter to diagnose the problem.


how does he even know it is the motor anymore? it could just as easily be something else such as the switch.
