Default Wheel Size Increase

I am going from 245/45/17 wheel to a 245/40/ 18 on a 99 cobra. Any issues to consider before doing this?

Thanks

i would go 8" to 9" if your car can fit them in, i am not sure about the size of your wheel wells on your 99, but i can get 9" in my fox with no problems.. so you should be able to do the same

If you want something you can rotate no problem I'd suggest 18x9s with 275/35-18 all around, you may rub a little at full turn in the front though unless you upgrade to 03 Cobra control arms.
