Shouldnt have to, at least not until you put a cam and heads in. You can either get a chip burned for your current computer or get a aftermarket ecm like the one AEM makes and i think there are a few others that make em as well. I would personaly ditch the UD pullies thought. Why are you thinking of changing the computer anyway?

AEM isnt a chip its a new computer. you can get a chip by going to a place that has a dyno. buying a chip from the internet isnt worth it. You are better off going to a shop with a dyno and having than custom tune the chip for you. The 94 to 95 computers are very picky also they are not as flexable like the older cars and the newer ones. but before you get that chip get a HCI than do the chip.

Ya they put the connectors on the 95/94 models but never put in the ECM's to use it. The 96+ ecm's are set up for over head cam motors so they are usless to a 5.0 car, as far as I know.

It fixes the trouble of the codes in the computer so why its usless?
and what about the A9L is it worth it because i am asking if there is no dyno in my place? so what kind of chip or computer do you prefer if the A9L isn't worth it?
thanx for your help

hmm From what i know the E-PROM in the ECM on ford in 94-95 Has to be broken into and a board placed into the Factory Programming Slot with a laptop to reset the ECM and yes you would need a Dyno to set it up for your motor unless you possibly buy the AEM or another computer for your car and tune it your self.. but i would still take it to the dyno and tune it with the AEM ECM
and last time i looked they ran about $1200 for one... So yeah Ford kinda sucked on the 94/some 96 ECMs... Im in need of getting one my slef because the ECM leans me out at 48/5400RPMs...

You Shouldnt have to edit the ECM at this point unless u put a Cam, intake, or some heads on the engine before you edit the ECM..
