Hey I just rebuilt my friends tranny on his 2.3 fox and not the clutch is all floppy. the cable pulls the fork out but there is noting returning the fork is there a spring somewere that poped out that is to return it thanks

 

The fingers on the diaphram pushes the fork back. Do you feel any resistance when you push in the clutch?

Check you didn't knock the fork off it's pivot.
