In 2 week my fiance and I are going to be driving to Greenville South Carolina from Detroit Michigan. I really don't want to take my Mustang simply because I don't want to put all those miles on it (~800 miles). So, what we're planning doing is taking my 1995 GMC Jimmy with 144000 miles. The truck is in good working order, no mechanical problems. I'll be giving it a tune up and changing all the fluids before I go just to be sure. My reasons for wanting to take the Jimmy is that it has much more room for bags/cargo than my Mustang would have.

So, should I stick to original plan and take the Jimbo? Or should I take the Mustang?
